Sacagawea
Dans la classe de Ambre, ils ont travaillé sur des "VIP". Ambre a choisi une native américaine : Sacagawea.
Elle devait lire sa biographie, faire un poster, un résumé de sa vie et présenter son "personnage" devant les parents en étant costusmée ! Gros challenge pour elle, mais elle a relevé le défi avec le sourire ! Elle a eu les félicitations de la Directrice : "Good Job"

Introduction
Sacagawea was an important Native American in history. ‘Sacaga’ means bird and ‘wea’ means woman. She helped discover the American west.
Background
She had an interesting life. Sacagawea was born Idaho in 1788. She was daughter of Shoshone chief. She was captured by enemy tribe around age 12 and sold to Toussaint Charbonneau. After she married with Charbonneau. During the journey she discovered that her brother Cameawait is the Shoshone chief. The son of Sacagawea name is Jean-Baptiste nicknamed Pomp. We don’t know how she lived. Sacagawea had fascinating life.
Important
Sacagawea had a few important experiences. The name of expedition is CORPS OF DISCOVERY. She was the interpreter for Lewis and Clarke expedition. She carried her son on her back. The expedition lasted for 1year and 4 months. She had some important experiences.
Challenges
She had good challenges. She was not paid but she found food in the forest for the expedition when their boat tided over, she rescued important things from the river. Her life was difficult.
Conclusion
She was an important Shoshone woman. The expedition could not have happened without her.
